The story of fates-storyteller

Last night, askaloneib vanished, and I was completely confused (and freaking out). So I did some research. Let me sum this up, because this is probably the most thrilling thing that has ever happened in RP history. Get ready for your mind to be blown away.

(All of the below is a fictional thing within this fandom, no one is actually going to die. No one is harmed, this is an story, so sit back and enjoy the storyteller’s tale.)

First, two of the most well-known Ib fandom roleplayers are askaloneib and fakegarry. Their characters eventually got a well-established relationship between each other, and it is probably one of the best relationships within the Ib fandom. (Alone!ib and fake!garry, they were practically made for each other.)

As you can see, askaloneib has vanished. The only thing that remains on her page is a disfigured I don’t want to die. No matter what page you go on her blog, the same words and creepy music remains:

See, awhile ago, fates-storyteller jumped in, and this is where it gets fun.

fakegarry started to get some sort of ‘choose your own adventure’ scenario going on in his askbox, which is run by fates-storyteller. The tag for everything on fakegarry’s blog, I have already clicked to the latest page, is here.

Along with the adventure itself, fates-storyteller responds to what other people say regarding his story, and also sends cryptic hints and creepy messages to fakegarry, although recently the hints stopped. 

So far, the storyline is rather simple, Garry wakes up alone and Ib has been kidnapped. He has been presented with several choices and must choose wisely to ensure that Ib is kept safe. 

Then, in the middle of the night, askaloneib posted a link post. I can’t link to it, since her page is gone, but here is a reblogged version with more of the story from fakegarry.

What was stunning, as you can see from the notes, is that no one knew about it. In fact, I had been browsing askaloneib’s blog for updates on her RPs when suddenly her blog changed into what it is now. I had been so frightened, mainly because I hadn’t read any of the fates-storyteller’s tale.

When I caught up on everything, I was, and still am, astonished by how complex the story is turning out to be. It seems that Ib has also become one of the storyteller’s beloved actors.

This is probably the greatest thing to happen in a RP fandom, just saying.

I wonder if Ib-chan really is in cahoots with the storyteller, or if she’s doing it on her own accord just for the kick of it. Whatever it is, I look forward to the next installment of your adventure, fakegarry and fates-storyteller, this is excellent.
